Canyoning in Gorg Blau and Sa Fosca (expert level)

by Mallorca Mountains · Escorca · 4.9 · 121 Google

A full-day descent of the Gorg Blau torrent and the Sa Fosca narrows, one of the most technical canyons in the Tramuntana.

About

Sa Fosca is the final section of the Gorg Blau torrent before it joins the Lluc torrent: walls over 300 metres high and very narrow, half-dark passages. Mallorca Mountains, whose partner Javier Fernández is a qualified mountain guide, offers it as an expert-level outing of about eight and a half hours. It requires previous canyoning experience, good fitness and confidence in cold water; there are abseils and swimming sections. The operator provides technical gear. Check water levels and dates.
