A first go at the potter's wheel in Luciana Luca's studio: demonstration, your own piece and firing included, no experience needed.
A session of about two hours in ceramist Luciana Luca's studio in Sóller. It starts with a guided demonstration of the wheel and moves on to working your own piece: preparing and centring the clay, raising and shaping it, controlling movement and proportions and finishing details. The studio then handles drying, glazing and the two firings. The finished piece is collected at the studio after three or four weeks or shipped at extra cost. No previous experience is needed. The website gives the length as 2 h in the listing and 2.5 h in the description.
