Palma town council lists s'Hort del Rei as a 6,914 m² garden with no entrance fee. Visit Palma says it was already a garden in the 14th century, in the time of Jaume II, and that today pergolas with Andalusian-inspired elements sit alongside a pond and fountains, next to the Almudaina Palace. There are no official garden opening hours. Separately, the town council runs a crafts market from Easter to October, 10:00 to 17:00 on the days set in its calendar.
