About

Fra Juníper Serra's birth house in Petra's old quarter holds a museum opened in 1959. The exhibition follows his life from Petra to the missions of Mexico and California, with original documents, personal items and mission models. Entry is free (donations welcome). A 2020 guide gave hours Tuesday to Saturday 11:00-13:00 with visits arranged by phone, so confirm first. The church of Sant Pere and the convent of Sant Bernardí are nearby.
