Things to do in Banyalbufar

Its marjades, the stone-walled terraces, step down to a coastline of about 7 km with cliffs and coves such as Port del Canonge. Until the phylloxera blight of 1891, Banyalbufar's Malvasia wine was exported across Europe; the cherry tomato of the ramellet variety later took its place. Look out for the church of the Nativity, begun in 1669, and the 16th-century Verger tower.
