Day trips from Cala Millor: glass-bottom boats, jeep tours, the Caves of Drach and family days out
Day trips from Cala Millor and Cala Bona: glass-bottom boat, parasailing, jeep, buggy, bikes, Safari Zoo, the Drach and Hams caves and Cala Varques. Prices.

Cala Millor, with its long beach between Cala Bona and Sa Coma, is one of the big holiday centres on the east coast of Mallorca. Glass-bottom boats and parasailing flights leave from the promenade, jeep, buggy and mountain-bike companies are based in town, and seven or eight kilometres away you will find Porto Cristo with the Caves of Drach and Hams, the Safari Zoo and Dinosaurland.
In this guide we bring together what we list in Cala Millor, Cala Bona, Son Servera and Sant Llorenç, and what lies nearby, as far as Cala Romàntica and Cala Varques. We give duration, departure point, minimum age and price where it appears in our listings. If you also head north, our day trips from Cala Ratjada guide complements this one.
Cala Millor as a base: what is close at hand
You can do a lot without a car: the glass-bottom boat leaves from the beach pier, parasailing boards around Cala Bona, the jeep and buggy tours start from their shops in Cala Millor, and there are tours with pick-up to the Porto Cristo caves. By car, Porto Cristo, the Safari Zoo or Cala Romàntica are a quarter of an hour away.
A good split for a week: a day at sea (glass-bottom boat, kayak or a yacht to Cala Varques), one on a jeep, buggy or bike through the countryside and along the coast, a morning in the Drach or Hams caves, which also work on a rainy day, and an afternoon with the children at the Safari Zoo or Dinosaurland. Sea trips depend on the wind, so book them early in your stay.
From the beach: glass-bottom boat, parasailing and kayaking
Moonfish leaves the beach pier in Cala Millor on a catamaran with glass panels below deck for a two-to-three-hour cruise along the east coast, depending on the timetable. It is a relaxed outing and one of the best for families; our listing shows 29 euros per adult and a season from May to October.
